Absnews.net reports that some young men from Auchi (numbering 4) who were kidnapped in August have been released after payment of ransom to the tune of #2m as well as consumables like food items as well as drugs (on demand).

The report came in on Tuesday morning from a Vigilante source who told ABS that though the release was done on Monday, the boys are now in Auchi after spending days in the bush.

It was however gathered from the victims who are all from Akpekpe Heritage Zone of Auchi and local vigilante sources that the abductors numbering 5 are allegedly of the Fulani extraction who according to the eyewitnesses were heavily armed.
