The Director of Star Light Academy Afokpella Okpella, Comrade Friday Alasa Eshiomonune has conveyed a message of hope to the people of Okpella, Edo State home and abroad amidst his birthday celebration.
The message was made known to Okpella TV during a brief interview with the celebrants.
The educationist, Comr. Alasa firstly expressed gratitude to God for adding another year to his age on earth.
He conveyed the message of hope, said, Okpella shall rise again and overcome every challenge facing her. he said God will bless Okpella with a king after God’s heart, a king that will have the people of Okpella at heart and a King that will bring peace to the Land of Okpella.
He also urged the leaders in Okpella and every individuals home and abroad to continue to keep the bond of love.”I want to use this medium to encourage the people of the Okpella community the need for unity because a community without unity, nothing good will be achieved.
“He added that the Youths of Okpella should embrace Education more, to erase the mindset of “School na scam””Also urge the students of Okpella to have unquenchable zeal for education because education is the bedrock of development to any society. And also to always read our books because a reader today is a leader tomorrow.”
Comrade Friday Alasa is one of the Youth stakeholders in Ukhomunyio, also Immediate past Ukhomunyio Youths ELECO Chairman, and Public Relation Officer (PRO) to National Association of Proprietor of Private Schools Etsako East LGA.
Alasa, as described as a lover of children, is married to his lovely wife Princess Naomi Alasa and blessed with Children.
