The Chairman, Etsako East Local Government Area, Honorable Benedicta Attoh has awarded the Okpella-born, Mr. Uduaffi collins, with the sum of three hundred thousand Naira (3000,000), for passing the just concluded West Africa Examination Council (WAEC) with 8As and 1B.
The award presentation was held at the Etsako East Local Goverment Council, November 1, 2023.
According to the Chairman, “I saw your good result posted online and I decided to invite you to reward hard work. We must build a society where people believe that hard work still pays. We are not honouring you for you to be lazy but Etsako East is recognizing you for you to work harder in your academic pursuit to achieve your dream”
The Money awarded to Mr, Uduafi was said to encourage him and to also act as a motivation for other students to read and be focused educationally.
The 18 year old Uduafi has gain 2023/2024 admission into the Edo State University, Uzairue, to study Medicine and Surgery.
More so, an open challenge was thrown to the secondary school students in Etsako East LGA, who are preparing for the forthcoming Senior School certificate Examination that whosoever breaks the educational record of Mr. Uduafi Whoever, will be announced as the educational model among the students.
