The deep emotional apologies from Shaibu speaks hope for Edo
The Deputy Governor of Edo State, Rt. Hon. Comrade Philip Shaibu has today expressed how much he has missed his boss, during this period of misunderstanding that has linger for months. He stated this while speaking to newsmen during the visit of a delegation Catholic Men Organization (CMO) to his Benin residence.
“That relationship that we had, I pray that in the next few days or weeks, this relationship will come back, am missing my Governor dearly, I pray God will touch the Governor’s heart, and all those between to see that I mean well and needs a genuine reconciliation”.
Speaking further, he pleaded that if there is any mistake he has made, it’s an act of human and not wickedness, that his boss, Governor Godwin Obaseki forgives him, because he mean well for the State and loves his Governor so much.
He called on Mr. Governor to reflect to the beautiful enviable relationship that coexisted among them in the past 6 years of this administration. He apologized for anything he has done and pleaded for forgiveness.
