    “We’ll Make Etsako East Crime Free, Peaceful and Prosperous”—Attoh

    The Chairman Etsako East Local Government Hon. (Princess) Benedicta Attoh has promised to provide every necessary support and cooperation needed to all security agencies in the Council area to enable them to achieve their objective of crime-free, secure, peaceful, and Prosperous Etsako East Local Government Council.

    She described insecurity as a major factor that impedes good governance as insecurity has implications for local development, discourages investors causes forced migration, disruption of communal life, and encourages hostilities.

    Hon. (Princess) Benedicta Attoh stated this at the weekend during the presentation of motorcycles to local community security vigilante groups to enhance their capacity for the effective and efficient discharge of their responsibilities.

    The Council Boss promised to make efforts to encourage NGOs and traditional institutions to play greater roles in crime reduction in various communities for the protection of lives and properties to enhance the acts of governance for the benefit of the people.

    She expressed gratitude to Governor Godwin Obaseki for making the security of the people a topmost agenda of his administration. She called on community members to be watchful and support government security tasks through the provision of critical intelligence and suspicious activities as security is a collective business she said.
